Creating, Becoming & Vegetables

    Been thinking (and talking) about creating recently (the past 5 minutes) and I think I'm gonna keep thinking on this page.

    In Lex Walton's THE SOUND ROCKER'S PRAYER she says a lot of well-thought bullshit that I meditate on. Mostly she talks about creating music, something that I aspire to do, but I think its thoughts are more widely applicable.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT: being "cool," being "uncool," having "no influences."

THIS IS ABOUT: the things we love.

 

    This is about the things I love. I think I've spent too much time consuming and not enough time creating. Creating is a sacred thing, that's why I'm doing this blog really. I'm trying to get more comfortable with creating things that are embarrassing, revealing, etc. and just do the act. How am I gonna make something not embarrassing if I don't embarrass myself a million times?
